The Game Preserve's Spring/Woodlands location is actually a hidden gem among the Houston pinball venues. You won't find many new titles but there is a wide selection of popular DMDs, some well-loved solid states and even a few EMs although they keep them hidden away.

The highlight of this location, however, is the clientelle. Here you will find some of Houston's top players who are remarkably friendly. They play tournaments here often so they've noted all of the intricacies of these particular games which makes for some stiff competition.

The biggest downfall is that the games aren't always in the greatest condition. You'll run into the occasional lean, weak flipper, or non-registering target. Still, those nuances along with the camaraderie make almost any tournament at this location worthwhile.

Pros: Interesting selection of games from all eras and pleasant competition.

Cons: Not-always-perfect game conditions.
